Guardians of Harmony

The Rochester chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (SPEBSQSA) was chartered in 1977 and belongs to the Pioneer District which includes all of lower Michigan, most of upper Michigan and parts of Ontario. For many years it was home to the Heart of the Hills chorus. In January of 2013, the Macomb County chapter, original home to The Guardians of Harmony (GoH) moved to Rochester and merged with the chapter there.

Please feel free to visit any week, no reservations required! We are committed to our craft but strive to have a fun, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. While we do not have a formal audition process, we expect our members to learn music in a timely maner and give their best at each performance and rehearsal.
